Specialist-level surgical procedures performed directly at your facility — with collegial support from the initial case discussion through surgery to postoperative care. When required, I am also available outside regular consulting hours and opening times for surgical procedures and emergencies.

How the mobile surgical consultancy service works:

1) Initial case discussion

2) Review of the clinical history, available imaging, and laboratory findings

3) Assessment of suitability for a mobile surgical procedure

4) Planning of the required instruments, implants, and staffing resources

5) Performance of the surgery at the referring practice or clinic

6) Written surgical report and postoperative treatment plan

7) Follow-up care and ongoing collegial support

 

For referring veterinarians – what is required:

  • Operating theatre suitable for aseptic surgery

  • Anaesthesia and nursing support
  • Sterile instruments, where available
  • Diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
  • Plan for inpatient care and pain management
  • Emergency and complication management

  • Clear communication with pet owners
